Day 1::
Pick up participants in Toronto. Drive to 50 Point Conservation Area on Lake Ontario.
Search for migrating birds, wildflowers and butterflies. Visit historic
Niagara-on-the-Lake and Fort George.
Ov. South Landing Inn, QueenstonDay 2:
Walk the Bruce Trail in Queenston on the Niagara Escarpment, examining spring
wildflowers and birds. Tour a local winery. Return to Queenston Heights to view Brock's
Monument and the battle site of 1812. See the Laura Secord plaque and memorial. Walk
along the Niagara River. Overlook the river at the Sir Adam Beck Generating Station.

Day 3:
Visit the Butterfly Conservancy in Niagara Falls. Hike down the Nature
Trail into the Niagara Gorge, examining the geology of the gorge and
the effects of the river on the landscape. Search the gorge for rare ferns
and wildflowers. Visit Niagara and the falls area. Then visit the battlesite
of Lundy's Lane and its nearby museum.

Day 4:
Walk Niagara Parks Trail along Lake Ontario west of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Lunch at
Beamer Point Conservation Area near Grimsby. Scan the skies for migrating hawks, vultures
and eagles. Walk the woods for wildflowers. Drive back to Toronto.
