March 26 - April 07, 2001

Day 1:
Depart Toronto on Air France overnight flight to Tunis via Paris.
Day 2:
Arrive Tunis Airport, transfer to Bizerte, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Overnight at Hotel Bizerta Resort 4*.

Day 3:
Depart from Bizerte. Visit Lake Ichkeuil National Park. Continue to Tabarka.
Overnight at the Royal Golf Mafhaba Hotel 4*

Tunisian Mosque
Day 4:
Depart from Tabarka to Ain Draham Forest.
Overnight at the Noor El Ain Hotel 4* in Dougga.

Day 5:
Depart Dougga via Eousalem, Teboursouk. Visit Roman ruins. Continue to Sousse. Overnight at the
Sol El Kantaoui Hotel 4*

Day 6:
Depart Sousse via Kairouan (short stop), Speitla (short stop), Gafsa, Tozeur.
Overnight Dar Chraiet Hotel 5* in Tozeur

Ain Draham Forest
Day 7:
Tozeur area: Mountain Oasis Chebika, Tamerza, Mides. In the afternoon we visit the Oasis of Tozeur, Nafta and the Seldja Gorge area. Return to Tozeur.
Overnight at the Dar Chairt Hotel 5*.

Day 8:
Depart from Tozeur across the Lake of Chott El Jerid, via Kebili to Douz. Visit the Desert and the lakes near Douz.
Overnight Mouradi Douz Hotel 4*

Day 9:
Depart from Douz to Tamrzret, then Matmata: tour of the Troglodytes Habitations. Continue to Hammamet with a short stop in El Jem.
Overnight Mouradi Hammamet Hotel 5*

Chebika oasis
Day 10:
Depart for Cap Bon with a visit  at Korba, Kelibia, Barrages Lebna and El Oudiane. Return to Hammamet.
Overnight Mouradi Hammamet Hotel 5*

Day 11:
Depart for Sidi Jididi, Barrage Bouficha, Lake Hergla, Enfida. Return to Hammamet.
Overnight Mouradi Hammamet Hotel 5*

Day 12:
Free day in Hammamet. Optional walking tours.
Overnight Mouradi Hammamet Hotel 5*

Punic Ruins
Day 13:
Depart from Hammamet to Tunis Airport for flight home via Paris.
